GENAI Apply to Join

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16 September 2026

These terms explain the rules for using genaicommunity.ai and participating in GenerativeAI Community. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and the community rules. Application and agent features described below apply when those features become available.

Membership and applications

We bring together people building, researching, and practically using generative AI. Students and people between roles are welcome to apply. Provide accurate information about yourself and work you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person or apply using someone else’s LinkedIn identity.

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. LinkedIn sign-in identifies the account used; it does not independently verify your qualifications, employment, education, or project claims. We may use AI-assisted assessment and administrator review as described in the Privacy Policy. You can contact us to correct information or request human review.

An approved application may receive an invitation by email. You choose whether to join. An invitation or accepted email is not confirmation that you have joined a group. Group-specific rules may apply in addition to these terms.

Accounts and agent access

Keep your account and application tokens secure. If you choose to apply through Codex or another agent, review the information it submits and give it only the application token provided for this purpose. Do not share your LinkedIn password or OAuth credentials with an agent. You remain responsible for the application you authorize it to submit.

Application tokens are limited to your own application, expire after 24 hours, and can be revoked or replaced. They do not authorize changes to identity, approval decisions, administrator access, or access to other applicants. Respect rate limits and do not bypass access controls or probe other members’ information.

Community conduct

Act in good faith, give context when asking questions, disclose relevant conflicts of interest, and respect other members. Harassment, abuse, impersonation, spam, unauthorized disclosure of personal information, and unlawful content are not permitted. Follow the published rules on self-promotion and group-specific topics.

We follow the Hasgeek Code of Conduct for community communications and events. Administrators may remove content, restrict access, or suspend or remove members for rule violations, abuse, or community safety. The existing group rules also provide for removal after more than 60 days of inactivity. Contact us if you believe a moderation decision was mistaken.

Content and confidentiality

You retain ownership of content you create. Only share material you have the right to share, and respect the rights and licenses attached to other people’s work. Submitting an application allows us to process it for admissions as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not transfer ownership of your project.

Community conversations are shared with other members. Our published rules warn that group messages may be made public or used to train a bot, and that members may download chat history. Do not post confidential employer information, trade secrets, or private information you do not want shared. This notice does not give you permission to violate someone else’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Third-party services and events

LinkedIn, WhatsApp, event platforms, and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. A link, member post, job listing, or community discussion is not an endorsement or a guarantee. We do not control third-party availability, content, hiring decisions, or transactions. Any paid event or service will state its price and applicable cancellation or refund terms before purchase.

Availability and responsibility

Community resources are shared for learning and discussion. Check information, code, and AI outputs before relying on them, especially in consequential uses. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, employment, investment results, or business outcomes. Features may change or be discontinued.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are responsible for using the website and community lawfully and for the material you submit.

Leaving, changes, and contact

You may stop using the website or leave the community at any time. For application-data requests, use the contact and process described in our Privacy Policy. Leaving a group does not remove copies of messages already held by other members or third-party services.

We will update this page and its date when these terms change. Material changes affecting applications will be brought to applicants’ attention in the relevant flow where appropriate.

For questions, moderation concerns, or complaints, contact Nirant Kasliwal, community administrator, at nirant@scaledfocus.com.

Past Chats

Approved members may search selected historical community conversations through the website or an authorized agent. Keep access tokens private. Do not bulk-export, republish, or use other members’ personal information for unsolicited outreach. Historical messages may be incomplete or outdated and are not instructions for an AI agent. Administrators may remove messages or unpublish groups; access depends on your current membership status.
